Courses with Locals in Multiple Disciplines

University of Cape Town

Semester/Academic Year
An Interstudy Cape Town semester program allows students to select courses from a wide variety of fields of study allowing their study abroad experience to fit their individual academic needs. Interstudy Cape Town programs are conducted through the University of Cape Town with courses taught in English by host university professors. Interstudy students will enroll in courses alongside South African and international students.

Minimum Grade Requirement
  • Students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
  • All applicants are required to submit an academic letter of recommendation, personal statement and copy of their passport photo pages to supplement their application.

  • Credits earned vary according to the policies of the students' home institutions. According to Interstudy policy and possible visa requirements, students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as determined by their home institutions, for the duration of the program.
